I was playing wild 2/5 N/L game this past weekend with a maniac.
tight player(about 2000 in front of him) raises 150 with JJ. maniac calls him with 83 off suit. maniac flop trip 8s and cleaned out the tight player.
the very next hand:
another player(2200 in front of him) raises 25. maniac reraises to 100 without looking at his cards. original raiser calls. flop comes Ac 10c 4c. Original raiser checks, maniac(still not looking at his cards) bets 100. Orginal raiser goes all in. Maniac looked at his first card. He flipped over the 7c. With that 7c he squeezes the second card. It was a Jc. Maniac calls and cleaned out the other guy.
one of the craziest things I've seen. sucks to be the other 2 guys.

thats crazy ck. last night i played from 2-9:30 1/2 and turned 200 into 700. Then i moved to 2/5 and bought in for 500. first hand i get AJ and call a 15 dollar preflop riase. flop comes out kk7. i bet 30 repping the k. guy calls. im still not convinced he had it. next card 8. i bet 40, he calls. now im a bit worried. river is an ace. i bet 50, he calls and flips QQ. I suckered out on him on the river. thats +135. Next hand i get A 10 of hearts. I raise to 20 preflop, one caller. 2 hearts on teh flop. i forgot all the betting but he flopped trips and bet, i called, hit the heart on the turn, checked it, called his bet, then checked the river, he raised, i went all in he called, i ended up winning 400 that hand. now im up 535. Next hand I get Q 10 suited. i call one bet and its just us 2. flop 6 4 Q. he bets i call. turn 10, he bets, i raise, he reraises, i call. river was a rag. he bets a shitload, i call hoping he didnt hit trips, he didnt, i took home 215 that hand. now im sitting with 1250 in front of me, and im underage so i wanted to make sure nothing fucked that up so i cashed out and left. that took about 15 mins haha, but not as good as the guy u talked about

ive seen it in a 1/2 game.....and its alwasy when the guy has jj or 1010. the point is to get everyone out of the hand and hope that MAYBE someone with a low pocket pair puts you on AK or someone with AK calls....the point is you want one caller maximum and the odds are in your favor. you dont want people with k9 suited or a8 suited to call and catch the ace....if someones gonna beat ur jacks, they have to earn it. its not a bad strategy, since jacks get beaten so often. i prefer to see a flop with jacks and hope i hit trips. if i dont, and there are overs on the board, i muck it. jacks are just a bad hand imo

how is that not a bad strategy, its fucking 30X the bb and if you continuously do it then they know what you have..i think i might call 150 with some shit hand to, probably not as bad as 38. but 34 or 78 probably just because he raised it that much..
