On June 21, it endorsed taxpayer money paying for students to attend religious schools under a Maine tuition assistance program in rural areas lacking nearby public high schools.
On May 2, it ruled in favor of a Christian group that sought to fly a flag emblazoned with a cross at Boston city hall under a program aimed at promoting diversity and tolerance among the city's different communities.
The court's conservative justices, who hold a 6-3 majority, in particular have taken a broad view of religious rights.

Yes in Maine we have towns with 20 to 30 year round citizens. Kids there have no highschool all 3 of em in school k through 12 in some instances so these areas can elect a high school and now that high school can even be religious in lui of more traditional home schoolers......
It's ok. Public education has failed us all.....

Biased supreme court ruled against government officials trying to avoid violating first amendment prohibiting government endorsement of any religion. There is reason why supreme court shouldn't be eroding constitutional separation of church and state. Good governments don't have backwards ideology ruling over sensible policy.
