Yeah I think the topic goes over the heads of most on here. If someone makes a thread about Trump and twitter or how some DEM is in the media, there will be 50 replies but a serious campaign promise costing the little guy billions a year will not even be a bother.

This carried interest loophole is theft..its outright theft and no other way to put it. Money managers are able to only pay taxes on profits at the rate implying they are actually trading their own account and their money is at risk, when it is not. They are performing a job in which they are compensated by their investors. How we allow this is obscene...irregardless of the party or the person this has to stop.

Yeah he ran his yapper many times on this topic, before he got in office. Its easy to say I will do this I will do that when you are not part of the money grubbing process...and Trump has fallen flat on his face when it comes to promises. He LOVES to make them and abuse other politicians for not doing things yet he has been terrible at execution of promises.

This loophole is a joke, it is pure lobbyist theft...nothing else.

Your example is a net drain on the budget, that costs the middle class and lower class taxpayer, just as his moronic freebie to offshore money...removing the carried interest loophole is budget POSITIVE...it means the elite pay more, the total they should and not get a 10% benefit from cheating. Carried interest...what a joke they are not trading for their own account and personal funds.

The lower class have no power, no wealth, no savings, no future. So all the scraps you mentioned are nothing compared to the billions being lost on this carried interest scam and many others like it.

I dont like how you guys ignore all the lies and promises never kept and his cheating abusive personality all so your conservative agenda goes forward. It is disgusting and harmful to this country that the agenda matters more than the person.

Well you're right Walls...not much more to say on it...Bush, Obama, and Trump all wanted it gone.  But its still there. We know why.

Paul Singer (look him up), my guess is he told Trump he'd make life even more miserable than it is already is for him, if he kept on with it...Paul Ryan was asked about it the week of the big tax overhaul. He literally answered a different question without hesitation. I think that says something. 

Well you know we see eye to eye on the why...but to me you know the issue I have...it is all about Trump and his abusive, baiting, derogatory way of talking down to others. The clips are easy to find, he blabbed on about it many many times. It takes a real person to own up to your mouth and since he chose to run it and abuse so many, he has to own up and shut up. Of course the money is stronger than the politician, that is a fact...and even the king of all is no match for his master. I would not really be as bothered if the guy wasnt such a piece of crap and so disgustingly disrespectful. 

Sometimes the same thing drives me in this forum...the abusive, derisive, attacking nature of some people who will say and do anything without regard to others...I cant get past that and the case is the same with the king of all blabber mouths.
