47 percent of American voters have a college degree. Clinton leads this significant voting bloc by 22 points. Why is this important? Because these voters have already dismissed Trump as an unviable option in their educated opinions. The educated are gone and they won't be riding the trump train.
So where should Trump try to make up this gap? He already has the traditional non-college white vote in his pocket. The obvious answer to Trump's electoral math nightmare is to somehow go after minority voters. If he can win the black and hispanic votes comfortably, than he wins this election.
What does this mean for bettors? Well Trump backers are looking for a hail mary. Either the +22 dumb down or sit out election OR Trump tries to appeal to minorities.......but that cross has already been burned. No need to overthink this or place a hope bet on Trump. At this point it just comes down to juice.
When can you get maximum value on Clinton? Probably in that short window between the RNC and DNC conventions.
The Decision part of the bet is easy. Maximizing Clinton odds with a correctly timed wager will be the name of this game.
