CNN reporter Kasie Hunt appeared visibly disturbed while reporting new polling data showing former President Donald Trump leading President Joe Biden by 10 points in Michigan and by five points in Georgia.
The poll also revealed low approval ratings for Biden’s job performance in both states, with significant numbers of voters expressing dissatisfaction with his policies and negative views of his sharpness and stamina.

yes polling in March really matters when election is in 8 months. Trump was ahead of biden 2020 at this time too. Hillary was ahead of trump as well. What do they poll 1200 people and who are these people they are polling?

Pretty funny stuff hearing all these pro-Trumpers loving polls now that they find a few where their hero is leading in when they have been bagging on the inaccuracies of polling for the last 8 years. We live in a reverse world for sure. Cannot believe people on both sides do not realize that these polls mean absolutely nothing and that polling in general is pretty useless these days, as are election odds. 
I remember 2020 election night when Trump was around -250 and closed in a similar spot, then ended up losing handily within the next few days.

I get your point about polls this early on. But it is just a tool to get an overall assessment on how the folks are feeling. It is also of interest to the campaign groups to decide to change direction or not, etc. They have their faults, but there are some very good and scientifically accurate polls.
But to say Trump was ahead of Biden at this time in 2020 is wrong.

At this time polls even had Sanders 53% ahead of Trump 47% according to Harris on MAR 26 and Harris also had Biden 55% Trump 45%
If Trump can win many of the battleground States by 4% or more, the van full of after hour ballets will not be able to make a difference. There is not enough dead or miscellaneous voters to make up 4%. This is good news and should make the election a landslide for Trump.

There is a problem here in California for Dems now...things are shifting here in Cali...enough to overturn the Dems, not sure, but there is definitely a shift out west....
Imagine if the Dems were not gifted all of Cali's electorals....that would be very interesting...there is some voting issues out here to...still having trouble counting the primary votes
Controversial hiring of McDaniel is like putting a mobster in district attorney office. More reasonable to hire a conservative republican instead of anti-democracy election denier who engages in gaslighting and character assassinations. McDaniel promotes Trump's big lie about stolen election and downplays January 6 attack on capitol. MSNBC hosts are right to be alarmed because she could undermine credibility of journalism.
