CNN ratings sink below Food Network

 Wow.....I remember being glued to CNN during the Gulf War.....Peter Arnett, Bernard Shaw, Wolf Blitzer, John Holliman.........it's a shame what has happened to a once top-notch network. Perhaps they can start over.

Wow, doesn't seem like 34 years have passed since the Gulf War.

I think this has been a steady decline for CNN & new leadership hasn't turned things around.

We watch our local news, David Muir nightly national news & nothing else anymore. Don't trust any of these news outlets. 

Although it's not a news outlet, we watch 60 Minutes every Sunday for its stories & entertainment value.

NETFLIX is our new friend.

Rep. Jasmine Crocket (D) said the quiet part out loud today , that Democrats cant win without Propaganda , Dishonesty , Media Hoaxes and Lies.

She says / admits Democrats lost because people got their news from other sources and NOT the Mainstream Media. Aired @ (NBC News / Meet the Press)

The problem for these guys (Democratic Party/Mainstream Media) is their idea of what the Media "should be" is essentially boxing out all opinions that disagree with them and their agenda.

  I started watching more national news during the riots (we were shut down during covid up here & limited sports to watch) & that's when I noticed the big difference in coverage/narratives of various networks. It even affected the local news affiliates. I watch CNBC every a.m. & thank goodness they've stayed on concept.

  It would be hard to dispute that. The amount of lies & exaggerations the msm spews is staggering. News outlets shouldn't have a rooting interest in what they consider "news".

That must be what happens when you lie to half the country, because the other half believed you, I love watching a Dem melt down, then all they got is your racist or some other thing that they have been calling you for the last 8 years. I wonder if they and msnbc even get a million viewers. Now I heard someone is putting a show to go up against the view , that shouldn't be hard to get their viewers to the same 5 to 10 that watch the others.

Agreed... And This is "propaganda" to the core.  Once reserved for banana republics in Latin American countries & Communist Regimes... but no more.  

Great Point, Mugg... I remember the same during the Gulf War.  CNN was "the" place to go to major global events, and just global news in general.    Then, they decided to get political.  If they hadn't made this mistake, perhaps Fox News is never born !!

  Good point. During the CHOP riot in Seattle, FOX was the only station showing the action at night. The following mornings when all was calm, CNN & MSNBC would have a reporter saying there's nothing to see here.

Evidently CNN has been pre-taping reports & calling it a "live look in" to viewers. Live shots cost more & involve more people.

New management is trying to do more with less.

Seitdem kam ans Licht dass Lindners Partei, die FDP, den Bruch der Koalition geplant hatte. Aber der Schuss ging laut Experten möglicherweise nach hinten los: Trotz der Bemühungen der FDP um vorgezogene Neuwahlen (mit dem Ziel, wieder mehr an Popularität zu gewinnen) ist zu befürchten, dass die Partei die für den Einzug ins Parlament erforderliche 5 Prozent-Hürde nicht erreichen wird.
