As Deputy Director, I was one of only a few people who had the authority to do that. It was not a secret, it took place over several days, and others, including the Director, were aware of the interaction with the reporter.&#xA; &#xA;Am I the only one who caught this little gem?&#xA;lmfao

Oh No&#x27;s !!! .....Comey gave the green light to McCabe to leak reports to the media about matters relating to the Trump &#xD;&#xA;or Hillary investigations ?  I cannot believe this ...That would contradict statements,,&#xD;&#xA;I heard Comey make last year during a congressional hearing.... Comey answered "never" to authorizing someone else at the FBI to leak to the press..

It was the type of exchange with the media that the Deputy Director oversees several times per week. In fact, it was the same type of work that I continued to do under Director Wray, at his request. The investigation subsequently focused on who I talked to, when I talked to them, and so forth. During these inquiries, I answered questions truthfully and as accurately as I could amidst the chaos that surrounded me. And when I thought my answers were misunderstood, I contacted investigators to correct them.

McCabe's firing was based on the recommendation of a career FBI official under current FBI Director Chris Wray....The recommendation to fire McCabe came from the FBI's own Office of Professional Responsibility, led by FBI Assistant Director Candice Will, who has been in her position since her appointment by then-Director Robert Mueller in 2004...

They ( the FBI) determined that one of their own should be fired for not meeting the high standards of integrity expected of an FBI employee....
