seems like the whole "R senate" vs. "D senate" is predicated on January 21st of this year....... there will be challenges to the georgia election(s) of course.
people are reading into that the Ds won't have senate control on January 21st.... but assuredly they will have it a few week later.
will P change their rules? which i believe they do quite regularly
my understanding is that Perdue was NOT a senator on election night. his term had expired... Loeffler was a senator on election night and presumably is still a senator.
so R's don't have 50 members anyway? nor do D's right now (that is obvious of course)
any thoughts.......... curious as to technicalities.
