Congress, PLEASE Act Responsibly

First, pass an emergency funding bill for 60 days, at current levels.

Next, GO HOME. It is time for the winter break anyway. Stay home for 30 days.

Next, do not study, consider, or pass any legislation you don’t fully understand (Tax Bill).

Next, demand a printed version of the final draft at least 20 days before you vote on anything.

Next, have a team of tax analysts explain exactly what you are considering voting for/against.

Next, listen to your constituents (those ugly critters you are supposed to be representing).

Last, debate the FINAL VERSION and vote on it. No more last-minute additions/deletions.

The tax bill is being rushed through for only two reasons. 1. DJT badly needs at least one perceived win this year, and 2. Those rushing it through do not want analysis to have anything to do with it. Confusion is better, and provides an excuse if certain sections do not work as promised. Any unpopular result will have a built-in excuse, “I didn’t realize that would be a result, we will work on it (never happens)”.

We the people is easily the most ignored phrase in the Constitution. The Washington Beltway encloses about 600 people of varying degrees of power, from a wannabe dictator at the top to miscreants and hangers-on at the bottom, but none have a shred of devotion to serving “We the People”

Go home, listen to the people, consider what is best for all. Do not reconvene for thirty days. 

The following is the short, short  version. Bt=before  trump.bt we had deficits of 10T under the 8 years of O. Now we have an opportunity to unleash our economy. The Left will never go for it because it will destroy their election chances in 2018. What can the not so smart Left run on in 2018 if America is in a good economy? Nothing is the answer. Do you remember the 'Comeback Kid' under Carville?  It is the economy stupid. Quote/unquote. MAGA!

Considering the date of the election they have had 12 months to work on this. Why is it a last-minute-we-have-to-hurry-to-get-it-done-by-Christmas type of thing? My objection is mainly the last minute rush. If they think they have kept up with almost daily changes and the ramifications who are they kidding? If you hired a contractor to build a room addition, gave him a year to do it, and he wasted 11.5 months, then hit the project with a large crew and furious activity the last 2 weeks, would you not be a bit suspicious of the quality?  

No problem? No confusion? Everyone understands it perfectly?
