Who in the world was that party on tv last night? For one night, Democrats when from burning flags to wrapping themselves in it. Didn't see that coming.
In how many walks of life do you suppose the phrase "that dofuss Kaine" been uttered? Good heavens. I'm trying to think of a major politician who ever looked more like an idiot than that guy. Bush II, maybe? Pelosi?
Speaking of Timmy, anyone have any thoughts on why he was picked? I'd have put a black person there if I had to import one to do it. Corey Booker? I think there may have been some sense that they didn't want anyone to outshine HRC. If so, they've got their guy.
FWIW, I think the GOP VP guy is not much better. He seems to want a theocracy, and I'm against them both in Middle East and the Beltway. I suppose he helps sure-up the Evangelicals, whoever they are. I'm just hoping the Election comes before the Rapture.
I think it's fair to say I never thought I'd hear an American president utter the phrase..."so that a Marine serving his country doesn't have to worry about hiding the husband he loves back home" on national tv. I'm basically a pro-gay-rights sort of guy, but I'm not sure what sort of message that sends to Mr. Putin (who was putting a choke-hold on a bear at the time).
I wonder if Lena Dunham actually leaves a trail of slime behind her when she walks.
Chelsea Clinton did a nice job. I wish she would distance herself from the family's criminal enterprise, but I guess that's easy for me to say. I'll die at my desk someday, and she'll never have to work a day in her life.
Was there ever an explanation for how Mr. Tump's wife of the moment came to deliver the same speech Mrs. Obama gave years ago? It never made any sense that she actually "stole" anything, because there was no way she'd ever get away with it (and she didn't). Was the speechwriter just an idiot, or was she set up?
It would be cool to have our first woman president, were it not for the fact that all she's done is ride her husband's coattails to where she is. Yoko Ono did more on her own than HRC.
Over/under on the number of women in the hall on Wednesday who Bill had banged since he last banged his wife? Over 74.5 -125?
