Well I called it guys Democrats caved completely to Rethuglican extremists with no DACA deal and No protection for Dreamers. Red State Senators were looking at their re-election prospects and waffled. It is amazing even in an 80-20 issue like DACA, the deep unpopularity of Trump and the complete extremism of the right wing lunatics Dems would cave so easily in this issue. What we desperately need is a 3rd party that stands for the American people and vote both these bums out of office.

The bill funds the government for 17 days, and it funds the popular CHIP children's insurance program for six years. It does not include a permanent fix for the Obama-era DACA program, which Senate Democrats had originally demanded.
