Donald Trump may have been the surprise victor in the GOP Primary race, but there’s one thing that no one should be surprised about during the general election race. And that’s his willingness to fight back. In fact, just to make sure that he doesn’t catch anyone by surprise this summer, the GOP presumptive presidential nominee told the nation his coming game plan.
“I have to fight back the way I have to fight back.”
Who does Mr. Trump believe he’ll be fighting back against? Why, the Clintons, of course.
“I don’t like doing that, but I have no choice when she hits me on things I just have no choice so you have to do it, it’s unfair. You know, they’re dirty players, they’ve been dirty players historically and I have to fight back the way I have to fight back.
She goes on very few shows and I noticed the other night she was on a show and they gave her set up questions and they negotiate their questions. I don’t think you can ever say I negotiate my questions with you. I have no idea what you’re going to hit me with.
If you look at her questions, they are negotiated questions and I am not saying it is a dumb thing to do, Bill. I’m not saying it’s so bad if she can do it.”
Mr. Trump was on Fox News’ the O’Reilly Factor when he made these comments about his campaign against Hillary Clinton, but it wasn’t just Hillary Clinton that Trump was talking about fighting with. He also told O’Reilly that he believes it may be time for Congress to declare WAR on the Muslim terrorists of ISIS.
“It wouldn’t bother me at all doing that. We probably should have done that in the first place. Look, we are at war with these people and they don’t wear uniforms. It’s not your traditional war where it’s a war against Germany, Japan, whoever. This is a war against people who are vicious, violent people that we have no idea who they are, where they come from. We are allowing tens of thousands of them into our country now so on top of wars on foreign land wait til you see what happens in the future, it’s probably not going to be pretty. I hope I’m wrong about that, but it’s probably not going to be pretty. It’s not speculation, we’re allowing people into our country. We don’t know who they are, where they come from. They happen to have cell phones, some of them have cell phones with the ISIS flag on them so I think it’s something we have to be very tough and very vigilant and very smart or we’re going to be in big trouble.
I would have no problem with doing it, Bill. I’ll study the facts, but I think right now I would have no problem with doing it because we are at war. By the way, the world is at war.”
