Big business is up and has a ton of cash on hand.Wall street is way up, the 400 richest Americans are up 200 billion in wealth.The middle class is down about 4000 per year.Food stamps are going to another 13 million Americans this year.Inflation is going nuts ,gas prices are claiming again. The only thing growing is the amount of poor people in this country.On top of that the nuts in the middle east are running wild.What is good.

I remember around 1980 Ronald Reagan said, at a news conference... That deregulation of banks and Wall St. would mean people/businesses made more money and that would trickle down to those with less money.. In effect, it was a pyramid scheme.

Big businesses proved that their corruption knew no bounds, and in 2008, this country saw the effects of that policies.

We must not only re-elect President Obama, but give him the support in the House and Senate that he needs to be successful in the next 4 years. If you are in the middle class 240,000 or less, Vote Democrat and we will continue digging out of the mess that he inherited..

There are 403 Billionaires in the United States. I am not worried about these people as much as much as you are. I think that 80% of these people became wealthy with the help of the govt (IE Warren Buffet) anyway, if we decided that we were going to hold closer to traditional conservative economics, these people would not get rich off of taxpayers in the first place .

Why do we need to change our tax code to include the moderately wealthy within the confines of this us vs. them mentality. Why do we need to sew the hate of class warfare to attain a tax code that is more fair.

I think that by obfuscating the tax code to a greater degree is stupid, and short sighted. It is the same thing that our government did with health care, instead of scrapping what didn't work and creating a better system they continue to add bandaid after bandaid to stop the most blatant issues while letting the overgrown bureaucratic nightmare gain size and inefficiencies. I think we need to scrap the entire 60,000 pages of the tax code and replace it with a pamphlet.

Flat tax

No deductions.

No Exemptions.

Finally something i can agree with you on. Get rid of the whole tax code, but that will never happen because the current tax code helps the rich and the rich buy the politicians, so the little guy will always remain getting screwed.

I think that is a little bit of a fantasy. When guys like Warren Buffet beg for taxes it is kind of telling.  You can see who directly benefits from them. Guys that make their living on other people&#x27;s taxes (as the Steve Miller song states).

The greatest democrat of our time implemented one of he biggest tax cuts for he wealthy of all time.   During the Internet mkt boom don&#x27;t you think that tax cut helped a lot of rich folks more than the avg joe.
