George Will hates Trump, but I am surprised that he actually left the Republican party.
GW is likely right. HRC has very high negatives and probably would prove to be an unpopular incumbent, plus in 2020 the Democrats would have held the Presidency for 12 consecutive years and voters would probably vote for change.

GW is quite the optimist to think there will be a country to come back to after 4 years,... and what does he think the Supreme Court will look like after 4 years of Billary. (Progressive Left). There are some key replacements on the docket these next several years.
Actually, I think he hasn't though this through entirely , contrary to the praise you're giving him. The presidency and trajectory of the U.S. will not just stay frozen in place for 4 years under Billary.
