 it is a very bad sign when the largest creator of new jobs is the government. Private businesses create wealth when they hire. Government consumes wealth when they hire.

Employers added 272,000 jobs in May!! 

Let's look a little closer;

Unemployment up to 4%.

Number of full-time workers dropped.

Number of people holding multiple jobs increased.

Foreign-born workers saw a gain of 414,000 jobs in May.

Native-born workers lost 663,000 jobs.

Some of those jobs created were positions that were created to create other positions to be hired for....the government is fantastic at creating circular references...you thought excel was the only one that did this but the government invented circular references....

Employment naturally fluctuates over time.  For decades, full time employment still dominates.  As US population age and more people leave workforce, immigrants help to boost US economy.  Doing jobs that Americans don't want to do, keeping inflation lower and paying taxes to fund social security.
