 Proof, yes GWB was in the CIA in Dallas and Houston at that time, you cant throw out that lingo with regards to the Kennedy situation, that would make you come off as seriously gripping and lacking reasonable intelligence. 

GWB is the most evil president in the history of the country, I am not saying he was a shooter I am saying he was intrinsically involved in the CIA at the time and I believe he was completely complicit, but he said he cant remember where he was...lol 

Lee Harvey Oswald was likely a lone wolf, who was also a Russian (communist) sympathizer that had traveled to the country.  Try as you might that Cuba, Russia, the CIA , Bush (Lol) were involved ... but by all accounts, the guy was a bit of an oddball (go figure) , said from co-workers at his job at the School Book Depository.

People that believe in conspiracy theories always operate under the mindset "" that something must happen for a reason.""  Sometimes they just don't...

 He was DIRECTOR in the mid 70's he has been in the CIA well before just being insta-director. he was an agent in the 60s and never left. He kept tabs on them his entire life.

Do a little research...it is not a movie script.

Maybe it was Bush, maybe it was Fidel, maybe it was Khrushchev, maybe it was the MOB !

You can justify reasons for each of them ... except Bush.   But you need PROOF ; otherwise it is just conjecture.   Conspiracy theories are always light on facts, which makes them fantasy.

Oh my word...he worked in the area he was part of the CIA...sheesh you guys are bonkers. He was in the CIA the entire decade and no question involved, too many specifics and details and facts to ignore it.

Bush to me is the worst ever...caused the death of so so many and never had accountability or responsibility.

 I am going to tell you, personally, I think you might be too interested in this being correct to overlook that it probably is not.

GHWB was only director the year of 1976.  I never worked for him but tangentially for Webster.  But I met GWHB several times and he was in some of the meetings from time to time.  I have even had conversations with him.  I never got the feeling that you are describing at all.  He was always very cordial, polite, sincere and extremely intelligent on whatever was being discussed.  This was one of the main reasons Ford appointed him, in part, because everyone liked and trusted him.  His integrity was what Ford wanted in order to get things sorted out after Watergate, etc.

I knew some of the old fellows and some of them I am sure went back to the OSS days.  When you talked to them, of course GHWB's name would come up and none of them ever had anything bad to say about him.  

He was not looked at or talked about as a long-tenured guy normally would be.  He was seen just as an administrator or manager that was brought in, not like a promoted guy with a long and detailed history with an organization would be.

I know for a fact Webster liked and respected and trusted him an awful lot.

I think this is just a casual link folks have tried to make since he was from Texas and in the oil business at the time.  Then went into the politics there and eventually was CID.  I think the rumors of him being even linked to the CIA in the 1960s do not make sense because what would he be doing for them there at that time, etc.

Maybe there was some pro-Colby sentiment that started some of this.  I just find it hard to believe as much as folks on opposite sides politically expose things that at some point they would not have had some legitimate folks bring it up and 'force' some sort of disclosure.  Even if he was just a liaison of sorts I could not see him making decisions or being involved in some big operation at that time.

But who knows?  Maybe even if you cannot see any smoke, but just a hint of a smell -- there could still be some fire.  Maybe everyone just kept it in check somehow.

 I grew up having the same image of him that you just described, he comes off exactly as you mention so I can see how you would feel that way as I did also for many many years. Not until later where information came to light and actions he was involved with were more clear did my opinion change. He seems completely as you mention, he was very very good at PR and his image, that for sure is a fact. To me the details, the actions, the motives and the many instances where you see involvement tell the story to me. Of course due to the fact that the CIA does not disclose information, the real truth wont ever come out but especially after what a snow job his son did and how CIA was still linked and involved those many years later, I think my gut is right on this guy.

I am not sure what is supposed to be known about Prescott?  He was more of a public figure than most folks.  Certainly more than Grandfather@wallstreetcappers or 

Grandfather@Raiders22 were I would imagine.  Imagine if we were to run for office and folks wanted to dig up stuff on our grandfathers -- that would be quite hard to do.

Even the business dealings have been questioned -- but many years later when his kid got into politics.

But that is akin to questioning folks that did business with slave owners years ago, or anything similar.

Germany was a big economy at one time and just because someone did business with one of their businessman, the logic does not necessarily follow that they are Nazi-sympathiszers.

Then people hear skull-and-bones, fraternities, CIA, politics, businessmen -- then they just go ahead and assume all manner of underhanded subterfuge.

I think this just all started because the family got into politics; nothing underhanded really has been shown to be true that I know of.

You cannot just assume things based on innuendo.

I get that people like a good mystery like JFK and even 9/11 or Pearl Harbor or even a flash crash on the market -- but mostly, these things are just what they are and nothing conspiratorial is there.  

I mean most times a good 'fake moon landing' guy can almost have me convinced.  People are really into these things.  Just look at all of the stuff around the election and covid, etc.

Always interesting things to imagine and discuss though.

What turned the narrative in my mind was the 9-11 Saddam scheme, not that we need to discuss the subject but I started thinking of CIA more after that, then you dig into the Carlisle group, the way the Bush family had financial incentives with the Saudis, then I started poking around more plus back then with that flim flam Desert Storm the media info was very limited, much more than is the case now. Then if you start considering the possibility then you poke into his past and see that a theme exists over and over his entire life, that is what brought my mind to looking at him differently. Then of course Prescott...well no words for that situation and I dont minimize actions because the era was different...it doesnt matter what was going on in society and the world, if someone does what he did that has to be viewed as his actions, his greed and the decisions made. I see no way to spin Prescott at all.
