They must win their primaries first. say that is already cut and dry.
a campaign to unseat incumbents or retain incumbents in their districts begins. they all must face the primaries they all must face a general election.
as their resources that are vast yes but not unlimited. by draining these accounts and spreading them so thin that their campaign can collapse. Especially if all bought and paid for. When common citizens donate their time resource's as volunteers at a grass roots organization it is over looked. It is scoffed at mocked ridiculed but why?
'Cause that where the real power is held. Those are the real voters the vast majority of Americans are not millionaires. maybe 5% are.
so like all star wars films, the insignificant puny oppressed insignificant are the drivers to any rebel cause. and a rebellion does not have to be done with arms race. It can be done as the Know nothings Knew in spiking a poor common man whom lived in a tiny cabin and read by camp light, that would be Abraham Lincoln, or a insignificant editor of small hardly read rag in Philadelphia, that would Benjamin Franklin.
If you are encountering overwhelming resistance and they mock scorn you or care enough to do so... you are on the right trail that journey will bring joy beyond all possible comprehension.
