PCR tests are reliable in detecting coronavirus.  However temperature checks aren't reliable despite convenience.  Covid vaccines are approved by Food drug administration.  Worldwide, millions of vaccinations confirm their safety and effectiveness.

They have instant test. I can't speak to their reliability but they have existed for like a year that I know of. I think expense is the hang up. It's be expensive as shit to, say, test every kid coming to school. Test every person coming into an airport. Expensive and timely.
