I don't think any politician goes to bed at night thinking "hmm, how can I destroy the liberties of individuals tomorrow?  I know!  I'll start by taking their guns away and we'll see how far I can take it until the entire society is reduced to a mindless slave workforce.  Yay!"  Sounds like a lot of conspiracy theory garbage to me.

I think politicians, and society, are reacting to what happened:  LITTLE KIDS GETTING THEIR HEADS BLOWN OFF.

VP Joe Biden told the press today that "The president is going to act,".......

"There are executives orders, there's executive action that can be taken. We haven't decided what that is yet. But we're compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action that we believe is required."

Biden said that this is a moral issue and that "it's critically important that we act."

If these fanatical anti-gun libs really cared about moral issues and wanted to save lives .. they would insist on the president issuing an executive order banning abortion...instead of a gun grab.

Common sense people. After watching Alex Jones and reading some of the angry posts on this forum, if anyone needs their gun cases well-stocked with weapons and ammo, it's liberals. These "conservatives" don't want government unless it's in your bedroom or in your wife and daughter's vagina. They've openly expressed their wish for a bloody revolution here, in part because they think they have both the guns and the numbers.

I'm the outrider here. I'm pro-gun and pro-choice. And I do think the illegal drugs are probably better for a person, or at least less harmful, than the ones the government says you can take.

I also believe a healthy sense of paranoia is not a bad thing. As the Grateful Dead sing, "When life looks like easy street, there's danger at the door." Alex Jones is right in so far that the second amenment is not for duck hunting. And religious zealots who want to impose their brand of morality through law and bullying are some of the biggest tryrants of all.

Wyoming lawmakers have proposed a new bill that, if passed, would nullify any federal restrictions on guns, threatening to jail federal agents attempting to confiscate guns, ammunition magazines or ammunition.

The bill – HB0104 – states that “any federal law which attempts to ban a semi-automatic firearm or to limit the size of a magazine of a firearm or other limitation on firearms in this state shall be unenforceable in Wyoming.”

The bill is sponsored by eight Wyoming state representatives ad two state senators. If passed, the bill would declare any federal gun regulation created on or after January 1, 2013 to be unenforceable within the state.
