Ford confirmed the Bronco’s return on July 9. That will certainly be a big day for off-road fans, but it will also be a big day for someone else. July 9 happens to be the birthday of Orenthal James Simpson he turns 73 on that day..

Everybody the world (old enough) knows that 26 years ago..O.J. was fleeing in a 90-minute low-speed car chase from the California Highway Patrol in a white Ford Bronco...O.J.was a passenger in the 1993 Bronco while his friend and former teammate Al Cowlings drove the I-405 in Southern California....Some 95 million people watched the chase that night..

Personally,,I think Fords will change the date ...or O.J.will get a kick-back........

They look pretty bad ass. Saw some leaks last year. I&#x27;m a GM guy but had a Bronco and a 5.0 when I was in my late teens early 20s. The Bronco was a tank. Wrecked it on night. Guy ran a red light and I T-boned him. His car looked like a pretzel. I drove the Bronco home.

Ford and O.J.go back a looong way. I and many others can remember one of the fastest Football payers in the game, at that time.. O.J.... dressed in a business suit and carrying a briefcase, gracefully dashing through airports on his way to pick up a Hertz rental car, with fans cheering as he sprinted... "The superstar in rent-a-car."

Hertz's well-known slogan "Go, O.J., Go!" now is a national joke now... after the bizarre police chase...
