Anti-happy, anti-abortion, anti-women, 100% NRA vote support, voted against extending stem cell research (that has shown the ability to cure cancer, etc), against sex-ed at schools, supports prayer in public schools, only congressman to receive a -0- from the Sierra group, received an -A- from ALI (anti- amnesty group), opposed to the government providing any form of welfare, and of course, believes ObamaCare should be repealed at any cost.

I mean, he is a right winger's absolute dream.

and thus they will keep losing elections..... the extremes!!!!  grrrrr

McCarty is not right winger's absolute dream...he's from the establishment wing of the party .

 What's the rush to appoint McCarthy ..he was not the conservatives’ first choice..

because their first choice is still under contract with A & E, maybe they should wait and see if Duck Dynasty gets renewed for another season.

Well, what's the rush why not take the time for members outside the GOP establishment to promote someone that would reflect the move the new movement and down for the cause.

Cantor described McCarthy as his "good friend and endorses him as his replacement ...

 Yeah ,,that's what we need someone who is endorsed by a person who lost a primary election by double digits..

Bunny651... McCarthy is to the left of Cantor for gods sake. and is someone that represents the old Revolutionary Guard of the GOP the establishment Republicans ...and they need to be the minority in the House ..not in all the leadership positions..

I don't know enough of him and that's why I asked who would be your/other conservatives' first choice since you said that?

 In other words, McCarthy fails the Reagan 80/20 rule.

Cantor is a conservative and if it's true that he was voted out mainly on a single issue, I am not so sure it's good for the Party. Whether the person is from the far-left or far-right, if the person is holding those views in each and every single issue, he/she is just an extremist.

Lets don't kid ourselves, Reagan is often cited by the conservatives as their hero but he would most definitely be considered a liberal by today's standard.

The word is not acceptable,but an American philanthropic organization ( the United Nword College Fund ) can use the name to solicit funds for general scholarships for colored people ...but no one else.....
