I've always believed that those who demonstrate the strongest opposition to something are often secretly guilty of it themselves. If someone is super anti-happy, they've probably been having anonymous happy truckstop sex. If someone is super anti-trump, they probably secretly own a MAGA hat....

Totally unrelated, have any of you guys checked out Sabanesque's child sexual abuse thread? Really appalling stuff. It's like 6 pages, mostly all him. He's pretty passionate about it and I commend him for it.

I've been around several blocks so to speak,and the degree of alcoholism that is present among achievers(high) in private/public offices would be called epidemic. Legal and sanctioned escapism.

Most of us were taught smacking around a woman is unacceptable & for that I say good riddance. Whether he was Dem or Rep  it doesn't matter to me. Wrong is wrong.

At least he was smart enough to get out of Dodge for his transgressions.
