According to fact checker Snopes, FBI has evidence of money flowing from Russia to National rifle association. This is also confirmed by Justice department, Federal election commission and Spain. Illegal to use foreign money to influence federal elections. US weakness would encourage more russian cyberattacks, propaganda misinformation, money laundering and covert operations.
