We get it, black people have it harder. Such weird statistics clumping gang violence together with drug over dose and attributing to them being dealt by gangs. Is there a separate subset of data for over doses from drugs not dealt by gangs? Or gang violence that killed non gang members or non-gang violence that killed a gang member?
Or how about drug overdoses by gang members that did not get the drugs dealt from a gang member?

If people believe politicians will save them they are mistaken. I think that a lot of the complete nonsense has been put out a or Obama being anti-white and pro-African American just doesn't show up beyond the drama of the talking heads and those that believe it. If anything Obama can say to black people that at least things are not as bad is they would be if he wasn't president. And this is probably the more appropriate mantra for the Democratic Party is general. We won't make things all better for African Americans but it won't get worse or as bad as if you voted GOP. But even then, I believe that to paint such broad strokes about all GOPs or all dems as being exactly the same is dumb.
Just like lumping all African Americans, Caucasians, non-African Americans, Hispanics, gang members (what ever in the world that really means), Mexicans, Hispanics, tranasgendered people, the entire lgbtq community. To make generalizations about large and complex groups of people spanning multiple time zones, conditions, environments and states just seems silly

Well at the rate of die off we won't need as many prison beds constructed. Always a silver lining for tax payers. Another thought at the good old boy lounge. Let er burn the slum lords get paid from insurance company . and we can make a nice park where the ghetto was.

Nah, we just increase sentences and make stiffer penalties more non-violent crimes and incarcerate more people. The USA is the leader in having most people in prisons and we have politicians and people that support them that want to keep writing blank checks of tax payer money to pay for more prisons, jails, positions to staff them, courts, and the expenses to process all this.
It's always interesting how certain groups of people want fiscal respsonsibility and sensibility while other groups of people seek to find ways of increasing spending and writing these blanks checks on the tax payer dollar in the name of a war on drugs or a war on crime or a war and whatever
