Yep, of course many on the right will downgrade, distort &/or minimize any good he might do. Unless the economy/ unemployment tanks any further, he'll probably be tough to beat in 2012.
As I suspected after the elections, he's moving right & toward the center & I expect it to continue after the new year. He may be far left idealogically, but he's a political animal above all else & a smart one at that. Doubt if he's concerned much about the far left's dissatisfaction as they won't vote Repub anyhow & it's the indy's he needs come 2012.

There is no way that Obama does not win in 2012 I agree with you, he's a very smart man and this entire poltical section of the forum has turned into a bashing session for this man.
I don't get it these fools here expect things to turn around instantly after he took office. They're writing off his legacy already. It's a joke.

There's a BIG difference between "turning around instantly" and making a hard left turn right into the ground while thumbing your nose at the public and ramming more anti-growth legislation down their throats.
Worst president in our lifetime.

Anti-growth stimulation? Are you brain dead? Obama's stimulus package has created nearly 3 million jobs. Of course he wants the number to higher and every American does but NO president would have been able to revive the economy within 2 years. I think he should have changed the tax breaks to 500 thousand instead of 250 but it is what it is.
Things are not going to turn around for at least another 4 years. NO republican or democrat would have been able to stimulate the economy for esplandes liking. America is going through one of the worst recessions ever and for you to think things are going to change that fucking quickly.......
How long did it take for the U.S to get out of Great Depression? It took a few decades for things to get better. And one could argue that WWII was a direct cause of that.
So calm the fuck down with your absurd comments.

There has been a net job LOSS (and a large one) during his two years in office. So he burdened the country with a huge debt while increasing the unemployment rate to 10%. That is awful.
His actions have EXTENDED the recession and in fact are largely to blame for the current situation.
Giving blammo credit for creating 3M jobs shows how asinine you are. Hell why not credit him for not losing 100M jobs?
Comparing what obama inherited to the Great Depression shows just how deluded you truly are.
Weak.

Unemployment is not 10% its 9.3% thats a huge difference so I'm not quite sure where you're getting your information. Kind of like how you thought his approval rating is 39%, also wrong, its 43%. You bring up a lot of false statistics.
Bush left him with the highest level of debt ever and wtf was he supposed to do just let the trickle down theory flow?
Sit back and find something else to do?
His actions have extended the debt in the short term but thats obvious. What are you trying to say?
Nope, you're the one who lives in fairly land where people make wishes and they come true instantly.

No worries blast - some of these vehement anti-Obama folks like esplanade can't stand the thought of the economy slowly coming back some as it already is a bit & havin to keep bitchin about him for another 6 yrs while still proclaiming him the worst Prez ever. Won't have quite the same ring to it

I would like to also many of the republicans on this site are not very intelligent (actually they appear to be flat out stupid) and therefore, it is hard to have any sort of discussion with them.
