My wife and I attended a ceremony this morning.

It was quiet, somber, respectful and peaceful. No political displays. Just Americans together. 

 As a kid, I lived in NY for a couple years (Navy brat). I remember standing near the base of the towers, before they were even finished, & looking up. It was a rainy day & I couldn't even see the top of them........I was in awe. About 30 years later & about 3000 miles away, I watched them get destroyed......

Today we are not democrats... we are not Republicans.... today we are Americans....   an emotional day....   God bless everyone...

The sky here was Sept 11th blue....

Scooby. Disappointment only comes from having expectations. Expecting the radical left members that circulate these forums to recognize a day of prayer for 9/11 victims and responders and their families is not the way they operate. If it can't be landed at Trump's feet for blame, don't expect them to have much to say about it.

I went to work doing the same job I did on 9/11 when the attack on America happened and remembered that day. I served in the Army and love America. I pray everyday and love God.

I will also be voting for President Donald Trump partially because of his foreign policy (no new wars) and his ability to negotiate peace deals in the middle east.

Just heard about the latest conspiracy theory about Trump and don't believe it for a second. Just like I didn't believe for a second any of the left's conspiracy theories about Trump being a russian agent, racist, starting world war 3, etc....

Your ignorance about socialism is sad. Socialism by definition is a transitional social state between the overthrow of capitalism and the realization of Communism.

On 9/11 that day we are not Democrats, liberals,Republicans, conservatives.... we are Americans....I am pretty sure they were a few of each who lost their lives.   Many of you were not there.  Watching on tv does not even come close to actually being there.   All walks of life uniting and helping.... I have seen first hand people coming together.  A completely horrific day .    How many of you witnessed a human body rainstorm??  During recovery and clean up stepping on what we thought was garbage bags only to later realize it was bodies.   I hoped for at least 1 day , on that day, we can politics behind and remember our loved ones, .... I guess I was wrong...
