Pat Tillman was murdered because the MIC couldn't have a soldier with such public exposure be criticizing their chase for billions.

@packersbackers
Once again... you have the wrong take!
Pat Tillman was killed by friendly fire, shot 3 times in the head, and the military tried to cover it up in many different ways. He was an outspoken critic of the war in Afghanistan, but the NFL uses his name and image to promote war. It's disgusting, and it's not remotely surprising that your dumb ass is all aboard the wrong bandwagon, as always!

Where/how was Tillman an outspoken critic of AFG? He died in 04 while serving there.
He was killed by friendly fire and the .mil sat on the info and let people think he was killed by Taliban fire... until the truth came out.

This has nothing to do with sports betting in any way. If you feel so strongly about this matter, the only choice you have is to fully boycott the league and never bet on ot again...if you don't, then you are willingly supporting a league that in your opinion is supporting war.
However, your country has lived in a glass house for nearly a century,,,raising false flags whenever they see opportunities to profit financially off the backs of other countries...no one is more war hungry and promotes it than the USA.
Why do certain people choose to use tragedies to constantly perpetuate their own beliefs, opinions, or theories? Tillman deserves to rest in peace, not be the subject this asshole's latest Karen episode simply because his milk and cookies weren't warm enough this morning.

Just north of the greatest country on the planet!

You have to dig deep into witness accounts and the accounts of people close to him. He was vocally against what was going on over there. He was a true patriot and should be celebrated as such but the propaganda around his death has been sickening.

The name of the forum is the NFL forum and the Pat Tillman story was revived by the league (not me) at the Superbowl halftime show as some sort of tribute. I am merely commenting on it.
Those of us whose minds are not dulled by alcohol and drugs, can see the gross hypocrisy and Tillman's family and friends feel it because they loved him.
The American military lied and covered up the real details of his death and the NFL used his story as a way to glorify themselves and promote other young men to join the war machine.
If you did a little bit of research before you attack, you might comprehend why this was such a bad optic for the league. However that is not your style and you choose to live in self imposed ignorance.
If I would be in your good graces I would be truly worried.

@GreasyFat
That was always my take too. I love the man. A true patriot. He deserved better.
@packersbackers
All very true. The US is a lot of things but chief among them a bully that lies to their people. That being said there is no other place I rather be.

"This war is so fucking illegal." Interesting. Never knew that. If true that is sad. He will forever be a hero and patriot in my eyes. I truly hope his death was a true accident. Again as I said he deserved far better.

Afghanistan was just there hideout. It was a good choice as Afghanistan is one of the most rugged, mountainous countries in the world. The people are fucking goat herders though. Very tribal. Very primitive. It was always the Saudis though. I don't even want to get going on the subject of the Saudis as it is just damn upsetting but just though that they have their hands in everything. Love Elon? Love Twitter? Guess who owns a huge chunk. And there are countless others. They are pure fucking evil and it's maddening how in their pocket out government is, and it's one of the few things that goes across party lines.

Make no mistake though. Pat Tillman IS a hero because he walked away from an NFL career to go and fight for our country. Not because of the content of said military career. It's sad that the military exploits him in the way they do but all countries are guilty of propaganda. You should hear Jessica Lynch's story, both her experience as a hostage and her rescue, and see how it differs from the story the military sold the public.
