I was a witness for a deal gone bad between my former boss and a contractor that decided not to pay. Now, I was the lead man. I did scheduling and billing of hours and I have direct knowledge of the contracts signed. I was fucked over by my company and I don’t wanna go to court and help him. I was subpoenaed and I don’t give a rats ass about jail for a month.. As I personally have done over a decade in prison out here in Colorado. Should I go in as a witness and make them both look bad? Or is there a way out of going? Court is Sep-18th. I know this isn’t the place for this question but some of us sports junkies are also lawyers or paralegals. If anyone has advice please feel free to share.
