ft hood texas. (Killeen) .
Moral don't call the police .
Don't be a rat they are not there to help.
The family of a Killeen, Texas, man fatally shot by police in the front yard of his home during a mental health check is calling for the officer's arrest.
The shooting happened Sunday just before 5:30 p.m. when the family of Patrick Warren Sr., a Black man, called police to ask that a mental health professional be sent to the home.
Instead, an officer who was "was not prepared to handle a mental health crisis" responded to the call, civil rights attorney Lee Merritt said at a press conference Thursday afternoon.
Merritt, who is representing the family, said the officer's demeanor was "hostile" and he quickly escalated the situation.
The events leading up to the shooting remain unclear.
The Killeen Police Department said that officer Reynaldo Contreras was sent to the home in response to a psychiatric call. When Contreras arrived he "encountered an emotionally distressed man," according to a police .
Don't expect anyone to be held accountable. No pigs are going to jail the shooting will be justified and good learning curve.
Don't trust the government .
The police are there to destroy your lives.
And the family can go back yo sucking duck and pumping their kids to foster care system.

That's probably for the best.

I tend to throw a complete zinger
out there and it usually keeps view counts low.
Attention isn't always warranted
But a bit on purpose.
At times even my punctuation and grammar warrants critiquing.....

Why didn't you post said article? What does one have to do with the other?

I wasn’t asked and it’s probably best I let sleeping dogs lie, but I’ll take a little nibble on the bait
The guy who killed the 25 year old out walking his dog got out on bail 2 weeks earlier. His bail was reduced from 200k to 12k. Some could draw the conclusion that dramatic decreases in bail like this are politically motivated or at the very least influenced by a certain movement, especially in a town like Philadelphia.
It’s just one gets more media attention than the other for obvious reasons that need not be pointed out

It's a horrible story. A horrible miscarriage of justice. I just fail to see the correlation. Unless, of course he was making the point that it's ok to shoot unarmed mentally ill men, a black man in this case, because "there are black people that commit crimes". And if the point is about media coverage, well, the statement disproves itself because clearly three people in this thread heard about it? From what source? The media. Neither of you live in Philadelphia. Pack is closest, literally in another country. And it's not like the case in Texas has been all over the news and being hotly debated around water coolers, and in chat forums, all across the country. I would say it received less coverage of any police shooting of an unarmed black man in quite some time. So again, what exactly is the correlation. What point was mugg attempting to make?

No point, just curious why the OP chose to post this story but not the other. He posts everything else under the sun. I find both instances sickening, & I thought his comments on the article were classless.

That's just nature. A lot is lost on a lot of people with him. Lost in translation but I would say he's probably one of the more compassion people in the forum. And I don't think he had an agenda in posting what he posted. And I would posit that questioning why he would post it, comparing it to unrelated stories, is a bit classless as well. I've had enough interaction with you directly to give the benefit of the doubt, and respect, to not go all, "Mugg, why'd you post that? That's this... That's that..." because it serves no purpose and that's not the guy I am but you could see where one would be puzzled by your response. You could see where one would draw correlations.
