Most people want peace.  This will always be welcome news in world diplomacy, even if, as stated earlier, in may only be a fleeting moment in history.  Some stoppage is always better than none...    We'll see how the parties involved work it out, but the IRANIAN regime is the phcking instigator here and it all revolves around ideological differences that are next to impossible to resolve.

Exactly, there are some most dangerous hot spots in the world now. Middle East, South China Seas/Taiwan, Ukrainian War and Korean Peninsula. 

I've heard over the saying from a career diplomat is this: religion, territorial dispute are the two toughest conundrums in keeping world peace. But we may add one more conundrum ton the list, i.e. ideology.

Meanwhile it has been *WIDELY* reported that trump is insisting on taking credit for the ceasefire.

IMO the 60 day ceasefire gets them into a new term.  Let's both sides drop back and re-arm.  Notice Iran is back in the shadows once again, wonder why
