    1) Brent Scowcroft, a Republican who served as national security adviser to former presidents Gerald Ford and George H.W. Bush, endorsed Hillary Clinton, who he said "appreciates" the importance of maintaining a "strong military advantage" while still retaining force "as a last resort."

    2) Hank Paulson, who was treasury secretary under President George W. Bush, trashed Donald Trump in a Washington Post op-ed on June 24, 2016, declaring himself a #NeverTrump backer.

"With Donald Trump as the presumptive presidential nominee, we are witnessing a populist hijacking of one of the United States' great political parties," Paulson said, before saying he'll be "voting for Hillary Clinton, with the hope that she can bring Americans together to do the things necessary to strengthen our economy, our environment and our place in the world."

    3) Richard Armitage, who was deputy secretary of state under President George W. Bush, told Politico that "if Donald Trump is the nominee, I would vote for Hillary Clinton."

"He doesn't appear to be a Republican, he doesn't appear to want to learn about issues. So, I'm going to vote for Mrs. Clinton," he said in the interview.

    4) Mark Salter, a top adviser to Arizona Sen. John McCain during his 2008 presidential bid, tweeted that "the GOP is going to nominate for President a guy who reads the National Enquirer and thinks it's on the level."

"I'm with her," he added, referencing Hillary Clinton's campaign slogan.

    5) Tim Miller, Jeb Bush's communications director for the 2016 primary race, is a leader in the Stop Trump movement.

"Hillary would beat him from jail," Miller said during an interview with Politico. "I'm telling you. That's how unpopular he is. It's crazy."

    6) Ben Howe, a contributing editor to the conservative RedState blog, told MSNBC in May that "as much as Hillary Clinton doesn't represent anything that I believe, as much as she's exactly the opposite of what I've been looking for in a presidential candidate, I've got to believe that she -- even if she just represented the status quo -- would be better than having a maniac in the Oval Office."

"That's what Donald Trump is," Howe said, "he's a maniac."

    7) Doug Elmets, former Reagan spokesman — "I could live with four years of Hillary Clinton before I could ever live with one day of Donald Trump as president."

    8) Jim Cicconi, former Reagan and George H.W. Bush aide — "Hillary Clinton is experienced, qualified and will make a fine president. The alternative, I fear, would set our nation on a very dark path.”

    9) Robert Kagan, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and a co-founder of the Project for the New American Century

    10) Max Boot, senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and adviser to GOP presidential candidates — "I'm literally losing sleep over Donald Trump. She would be vastly preferable to Trump."

    11) Peter Mansoor, retired Army colonel and former aide to David Petraeus — "It will be the first Democratic presidential candidate I’ve voted for in my adult life."

    12) Marc Andreessen, venture capitalist — "[Silicon] Valley wouldn't be here, we wouldn't be doing any of this if we didn't have the amazing flow of immigrants that we've had in the last 80 years. And the idea of choking that off just makes me sick to my stomach."

    13) Dan Akerson, former chairman and chief executive of General Motors — "Serving as the leader of the free world requires effective leadership, sound judgment, a steady hand and, most importantly, the temperament to deal with crises large and small. Donald Trump lacks each of these characteristics."

    14) Chuck Robbins, chief executive of Cisco

    15) Hamid Moghadam, chairman and chief executive of Prologis — "Our country is about tolerance and inclusion and that's why, as a lifelong Republican supporter, I endorse Hillary Clinton for president in this election."

    16) William Oberndorf, $3 million to GOP candidates since 2012 — "If it is Trump vs. Clinton, and there is no viable third-party candidate, I will be voting for Hillary Clinton."

    17) Mike Fernandez, $4 million to GOP candidates in recent years — "If I have a choice — and you can put it in bold — if I have a choice between Trump and Hillary Clinton, I’m choosing Hillary. She’s the lesser of two evils."

    18) Larry Pressler, former three-term Republican senator from South Dakota who lost an independent campaign for his old seat in 2014 — "I can’t believe I’m endorsing Hillary Clinton for president, but I am. If someone had told me 10 years ago I would do this, I wouldn’t have believed them."

    19) Arne Carlson, a former two-term Republican governor of Minnesota who supported President Obama

    20) Robert Smith, former New York state Supreme Court justice — "This year, I’m going to vote for a Democrat for president? — ?the first time I’ve done it in 36 years ?— ?and I think the decision is easy. Hillary Clinton is the only responsible choice, and I don’t understand why so few of my fellow conservatives see it that way."

    21) Mike Treiser, former Mitt Romney aide — "In the face of bigotry, hatred, violence, and small-mindedness, this time, I’m with her.”

That is because Hillary is ESTABLISHMENT and can be relied upon to keep the status quo. It isn't a strong endorsement of her, just a door to open that will keep things the same--globalist corporate expansion and access to affordable labor, proxy wars, etc

I've heard of some of these people.  I do follow politics and economics a little.  I am no expert by any means but I am not some emotional
Ignorant fool that tries to pretend like he knows it all and its trying too hard to overcompensate...

    SportsFan9698,

    1) on 3/30/2016 8:19:48 PM you created "It has been a good ride!!" thread

I really do appreciate many of you over the years.  Some really great people here.  The mods have destroyed the forum, and boxing me for making the most benign comments is just a bit beyond ridiculous - at least for me.

If anybody is curious about what this is about - read through this thread.

Wishing all of you the best in your wagers and in the real world!!!!

This forum has no room for anybody that leans right.... and I have no room for such fascism
    <UNQUOTE>

    You're still posting

    2)  You once bragged about your sex life
how good you were at sexually satisfying 19-21 year old females
Still trying to find the thread .

I always grab the popcorn before I read your posts

    Pure comedy . Thanks man

Would be interesting to see who trump picks as a running mate

I agree with you about the gambling thing but it's hard because in America some groups of people are for freedoms and rights for Americans while other groups are hellbent on limiting, stripping and taking away rights and freedoms for Americans
