Some people had blamed the Biden Administration for egg prices spiked, which is mainly caused by the avian influenza. And not for long, Trump will take over the governing, avian flu doesn't care if you are Democrats or Republicans.   

Well, because it's a ridiculous, pointless thread that doesn't "add value" or "bring about debate". First of all, as of now, we aren't in the midst of an outbreak. However you took the opportunity to make a thread asking, "How long will it be before it's (the nonexistent outbreak) is blamed on the left. Is there any point to a thread like this, or is it just mindless rambling? You don't have to make a thread for every notion that pops into your head.

Political campaign and promises are much easier than governing, Dems could apply the similar egg prices go up scenarios to criticize the Republican administration. Chicken come home to roost, either way. Virus does not care if you are Dem or GOP.

Over 70 Nobel laureates signed a letter urging senate to reject Kennedy as health secretary.  He is a lawyer with no experience in medicine or science.  He is an anti-vaccine activist known for promoting misinformation that endangers public health.  Due to low vaccination rates, preventable diseases are increasing.  For example, whooping cough and measles.  He has threatened to fire hundreds of top talent from Food drug administration and National institute of health despite knowing nothing about their jobs.  So far, California has issued a public health emergency over bird flu.

Also, the FDA is highly corrupt. They serve the interest of the food and drug companies. Not us. Many on those boards are paid as consultants for the very companies they are supposed to be regulating. Is that not a conflict of interest?

The state of emergency in California has to do with the dairy industry. It's a matter of business, not a public health crisis. Are we going yo blame an H1N1 outbreak amongst dairy cattle on those who are anti-vaccine?

I'm not an RFK jr guy per se but I find it interesting that someone finally has the balls to call out our unhealthy reliance, obsession even, with prescription drugs, has the balls to call out the food industry for their use of unhealthy additives banned in every other developed nation, stuff that is literally poisoning us, and it's the Democrats that attempt to discredit him. Are we in bizarro world? Just who are you guys trying to protect? Big pharma? The food industry that told us for years that fat was bad but that a balanced breakfast for a growing child consisted of sugary cereal and sweetened orange juice?

Discredit the messenger in an attempt to discredit the message. RFK jr makes many valid points that we need to address in this country yet all anyone can focus on is him being against unnecessary vaccination.

Yeah I'm not in high level government, so I'm guessing here but I think the way it works is that the Secretary reviews information prepared for them for by experts in the field to assess policy, as it relates to those being governed.

So yeah, I'll trust a laywer / policy maker as qualified to assess whether the presented policies are both legal and within the general publics best interests.

Even if I don't necessarily agree with all his specific beliefs.
