Ted Cruz is all about Ted Cruz. He read the tea leaves wrong in July, that huge ego got in the way. Also,he is trying to head off a potential primary challenge from a popular Congressman. Michael McCaul 10th district. He pissed off many in his core support base. Many want him gone forever. Even a highly functioning sociopath like Cruz is capable of Self Preservation.

This is just Ted Cruz trying to save his behind, and it might be too late, we'll see

Plus maybe he realized there will be no quarter given to the NeverTrump crowd after this election. REGARDLESS the outcome. That's the real change coming next year

I&#x27;m trying to understand the logic behind this comment.During primaries Cruz pledged to support the GOP nominee.Cruz did not support the GOP candidate at the convention.To the OP, this is "brave"Many people would define this as hypocrisy.Months later, Cruz supports Trump.To the OP, Cruz is now a "hypocrite"To my understanding, when a person changes their mind/stance/opinion into something the OP approves of, then is it bravery. When a person changes their mind/stance/opinion away from the OP&#x27;s approval, then it is hypocrisy. Got it

Really no different than Sanders endorsing Clinton. If you think about it, the entire endorsement process is hypocritical. One is stating they are the best candidate, yet advocating for another in the end.

As someone that voted for Cruz as the person I thought was the best presidential candidate,  I feel like this guy is still a sell out even tho it took him more time to do so than Christie and Carson. Not sure if this really should upset Hillary supporters or trump supporters at this point.But I&#x27;m thinking this is upsetting hupocrites who can&#x27;t understand hypocracy because they live their lives as hypocrites
