They had no choice since Biden has failed to protect our southern border. There have been record number of illegals crossing into our country every month & the Biden admin. has done nothing to stop it. He won't even allow Texas to use the panels that were already paid for & are just piled up gathering dust.
I have no problem with the wall per se as long as it doesn't use federal funds or violate any federal rules.
Illegal immigration has been an issue for many decades.
But the bigger issue is not the illegal crossings on the southern border.
It's been estimated close to 55%-60% of all illegals in the US are those who either
1/ legally entered, then overstayed their visa and remained or
2/ entered unlawfully through Canada or some other way

Hopefully the federal government will get to work on this larger issue.
