Richard Nixon may have gotten it right for the day and age he competed in, but I think the definition needs revision for the current circumstances. Nixon felt the Silent Majority was peaceful, law abiding, quiet day-to-day people. Today’s Silent Majority are probably the same people that defeated Hillary.

First let us consider the largest minority in the country that has no spokesperson, organization, or liberal on their side. They receive no government or charitable funding, they have no counselors or advocates screaming for them, and they darn sure can’t produce a measurable wave in the polls or at the ballot boxes because they are largely ignored as a group.

I speak of white, middle class working males that earn less than $75K per year and are trying to do some valuable and traditional things with what they have. A) They are not in bars, pool halls, poker or crap games on Friday night after cashing their paychecks. B) Their income goes home because they do not consider it “their money” as the feminists would have you believe. C) They firmly believe it is “family” money regardless of who worked for it or whose name is on the check. D) In a majority of these households the wife holds the purse strings or manages the bills, or it is done by mutual consent. E) Many of these men act in this way because they believe in their traditional role of breadwinner, and, F) are pleased that they have been chosen for that specific vocation.

Many of these men, and their wives, are satisfied with the struggles of a one income family so that their wives can be home, in the traditional role of wife and mother, raising their children exactly as they want their children raised; as opposed to being in government regulated day care facilities and public schools where they will be indoctrinated with atheism, homosexual and lesbian lifestyles, the joys of transgenderism and just generally having no moral or basic guidelines at all. Like Dr. Ruth Westheimer got so famous for saying, “If it feels good, do it!” Like it or not, and whether they were members of a religious denomination or not, the founding fathers were men of a traditional Judeo-Christian belief systems, and those were the founding principals of our Constitution.

I firmly believe one of the ways Hillary Clinton blew the 2016 election was that she felt the only things women wanted were more freedom, more education, more economic opportunity and independence, and fewer children. It seems every fifth word out of her mouth was “women” and she could turn a discussion of turnip farming into a female plea. She had no feel whatsoever for the women of the “rust belt” who could remember their fathers earning a decent living and mom being at home, in her role of mother, when needed. She had no feel for the millions of women that abhor abortion, only those that think abortion on demand is a grand idea. She had no feel for the millions of health care workers that want nothing to do with abortion mills.

I do not contend women that choose the outside-of-the-home career lifestyle should be restricted in any way, but society is attempting to force upon many women a career or job they do not want, and homemaker is still a viable, valuable and honorable profession. Women working outside the home was once an economic boon to families; now they have made it almost a necessity. The early formation (indoctrination) of children in government regulated day care centers and public schools is applauded by communists. Atheism, no moral guidelines and mind control are three of their biggest and most effective assets. They rejoice at every new generation of teachers that slides down the slippery slope of teaching children what to think, as opposed to how to think. Reason and rationale are not compatible with mind control.

Joe Biden, and his yet-to-be-named running mate will scurry down the same path, with possibly the same results, and probably never understand the psyche of such people. For every radical liberal screaming at the top of their lungs, there exists a silent man or woman committed to traditional beliefs. To adopt the latest and greatest liberal trend or fad is to forget how many votes you may be chasing away. The Democratic Party is good at that.

Well written and well stated keyelement.

All we see now are the Anti American attacks on our local news. Can’t hardly watch the propaganda they feed us. As an American, it is hard to imagine them creating an image of how terrible Trump and the American patriot has become. Many of the liberals know they are being fed lies and spun-out news to the leftist agenda. When many of the “on the fence voters “ get in that private booth, they will vote their conscience. They realize how dishonest the democrat gang has been.

The rioting, looting, fires, hatred and sedition has not been lost on law biding, hard working American citizens, whether left or right leaning.  The hardest thing for me to understand up to now is the depth of the leftist hatred for Donald Trump. Because he put a halt on their globalist plans.  Proof is the democrat willingness to see America destroyed rather than lose their political privilege and power. It is despicable..
