I think it's fairly well known that politicians are crooked....all, hard to say, but when your job consists of taking large sums of money from donors who then in turn expect you to push all the right buttons to scratch their back you become corrupted...these politicians are not getting these millions of dollars donated to them because they like their hello kitty collection...there is a hidden agenda with this exchange and it is seen time and time again...sure, people turn a blind cheek to it but it is more readily out there today than say 20-30 years ago...it's been happening for decades now and the information is out there....whether it's campaign contributions to do what they want or some kind of insider trading or info the consensus is that politicians have a bad rap...there are many examples of political corruption in forms of bribery, laundering, extortion, nepotism. influencing, embezzlement or some kind of institutional corruption...to say otherwise is being naive...like I said, it is every politician, no, but is it more wide scaled than it should, absolutely yes...money is power and so thus was created the puppeteer....

There are well know publications out there that one can read on this if one has not been alive long enough to see the trial and tribulations of the politic canvas that has developed over the past half century or so....no need to argue the point, as anyone in there 50's and 60's can attest to their own personal observations to the political corruptness that has endured...

Yet, politics is as strong as ever...

No former president has had his fixer pay off a porn star within two months of his own presidential election, then try to hide the reimbursement under the guise of "legal fees." No former president has stolen classified plans to attack Iran and showed them off to billionaire friends at Mar-a-Lago. 

Oh wait, only one former president has ... and his name is Donald Trump.
