Not Communism, but true Socialism: Communism, as practiced by Russia, China, and a handful of other autocracies, is often referred to as socialism, which it is not. At least not the way they practice it.
An example of true socialism has appeared recently though. Those that have, willingly providing for those that have not. Nigeria (one of those sh—hole countries) had a need for a massive polio immunization project. Japan had the resources. Nigeria could not afford the $76 million expense. The Japanese suppliers could not afford such a massive donation. Bill Gates, neither Japanese or Nigerian, and not requiring immunization himself, picked up the tab. That is socialism in action.
