Trump And The Media

Most of my views are conservative.......But I have to admit Trump fvcked up that press conference in Russia earler this week.......But the story is fading away fast and I have to wonder why.  He basically said in Helsinki that He believed Putin over his own intelligence team regarding russian interference.......Yet this story is almost dead.

I think this has to do with the cry wolf theory..........The media and the left are bashing Trump daily for one thing or another non-stop..........A lot of people dont trust the media completely and know about fake news.........When people hear Trump and Russia they they think "big deal" and start flipping through the channels because its old......They know Trump has not been impeached or is not in jail so it cant be that bad.

If the media's coverage with Trump was more balanced then maybe when he really does do or say something that he should be held accountable for like he did Monday in Russia then people would be more outraged.......But instead this was just another day of Trump bashing which will blow over and he gets away of saying whatever he wants - whenever he wants while his approval ratings are ticking upward.

It appears that the media's hatred for Trump may be working against them.........

Are Russian tanks rolling up 5th Ave in NYC yet? That's what the dems & media act like on a daily basis. Italy has a larger GDP than Russia. 

Yet another thoughtless remark on this forum.  Nobody is worried about Russian military taking over American homes and streets.  What's worrisome is Russia's tendency to use or threaten to use military force to achieve it's foreign policy goals especially when it comes to enforcing/coercing countries near its border or sphere of influence.  In addition they're investing heavily into social media networks and information warfare which have been successful at destabilizing the political culture of our western allies.  Not to mention their successful infiltration of systems/emails of our federal government enabling them to disrupt our 2016 elections.  This is not a republican vs democrat ... liberal vs conservative issue ... this is a serious problem for the United States and other western countries that don't share similar values and beliefs with the Kremlin.  

You have no idea what they discussed & unless we hear from the translator we will never know. Piggy certainly can't be believed.

Can we please have a military parade when Putin is visiting Trump.

While he told him to "cut it out"  he also issued a "stand down" order to the DOJ regarding Russian hacking. All of Hillary'so emails  are in the hands of an undisclosed foreign entity. Most likely Pakistan given the Awan families involvement. 

I think Trump should have taken a re-reset button with him for last meeting.

I have no side on Trump or Politics in general.  What I will say in my opinion is that the media is coming across as the Bully!  Perhaps this was all strategic on trumps part, who knows.  If the Liberal/Left media is tired of Trump they should really be focusing all of their energy on who is best to be his opponent at the next election.  Failure to do this will result in an easy re-election for Trump in 2020. 

Lets not forget another one of his classic quotes, calling ISIS a JV basketball team...that worked out well.

Well full steam ahead for the White House. The problem with Russian meddling is this was all legal. Legally the Russians posted a bunch of ads on Facebook legally the Russian obliarque bankers funneled money into the super pacs as ruled upon by citizens united legally Kushner borrowed from the Russian banks tothe case is against manforte Flynn and Michael Kohen but there is nothing else prosecutable.

And the media has always been a joke. The hosts of the talk shows are for entertainment purposes only there really is not any hard hitting raw footage anywhere on news cycles they run the same stories slightly different opinions and always for Ratings. Nothing is shown without a risk reward neilson man showing what will be watched. David Hume standardization of non fiction does not exist in the onward parade of featured opinions we get from the 24/7 News feeds 

We stopped getting our news through traditional feeds evening news. Ratings have consistently plummeted. When the big three nbc abc and cbs had a virtual monopoly they could collectively shape public opinion.... now not many even know the names of any national anchor on the desks. They have been replaced. First hand accounts wiki leaks published emails of Powell killary ect. We are so aware of the modern media propaganda machine we tuned all that 6-7 noise out as fake News Media beholden to sponsors not so much the truth

CNN is the best 24hr talk show channel...its like a Jerry Lewis Telethon show that never ends...they have the best circus show going on TV
