Trump appointed FBI Director Wray says: No Apparent Antifa Involvement in Jan. 6 "domestic terrorism"
USNEWS.COM
The FBI has found no evidence that far-left groups such as Antifa participated in the violent mob of President Donald Trump supporters who attacked the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 despite persistent conspiracy theories, the bureau's director said Tuesday, adding that racially motivated violent extremists – white supremacists – and members of militant groups such as the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers represent the preponderance of people arrested.
Under questioning from Sen. Christopher person, Delaware Democrat, Wray later specified the FBI had "not seen any evidence" that the mob included members of the Antifa, the Black Lives Matter movement or anyone attempting to pose as a Trump supporter with the intention of inciting violence.

Trump and his backers since have helped prop up conspiracy theories that the perpetrators of the attack were not Trump supporters. Rather, they baselessly blame left-wing groups such as the loose collection of self-identified extremists known as Antifa.
Wray said Tuesday that the more than 300 perpetrators of the attack whom law enforcement agencies have arrested so far are white supremacists.
The composition of the violent mob matched trends Wray has observed in recent years. Racially motivated violent extremism arrests have tripled since Trump appointed him as director in 2017. These groups comprise the biggest chunk of the crimes the FBI investigates, and of those, white supremacists make up the majority.

The FBI is among the various entities with the power to investigate alleged voter and election fraud, so Wray would be in a position to decisively debunk the so-called “big lie” from Donald Trump and others that Trump’s 2020 loss was the result of widespread fraud. And Wray (appointed by trump) did just that on Tuesday, March 02.
After expressing his agreement with then-Attorney General Bill Barr’s statement that there was no evidence of fraud on a level that would have affected the 2020 results, Wray went further in response to questions from Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ):
“We are not aware of any widespread evidence of voter fraud, much less that would have affected the outcome in the presidential election,” he said.

Trump appointed FBI director Wray confirmed there was no evidence of widespread voter fraud days after Trump lied about it yet again
New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker asked Wray if he agreed with then Attorney General William Barr's announcement last year that the DOJ had not uncovered evidence of widespread voter fraud in the November election.
"I agree with Attorney General Barr," Wray said.
"We are not aware of any widespread evidence of voter fraud, much less that it would have affected the outcome in the presidential election," he added.
The statement confirmed what multiple government agencies, bipartisan experts, and election officials have said for months: despite the coronavirus pandemic and a record l evel of early voting and voting by mail, the 2020 election was the safest in US history.
Wray's testimony wasn't surprising, but it was noteworthy given that Trump spent much of his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Sunday recycling lies about the election.

Despite rarity of voting fraud, Trump encourages GOP lawmakers to file 200 bills in 43 states to suppress eligible voters while pretending need for electoral integrity. Sadly, current republicans are dishonest. Under Trump, GOP has lost congress and white house. When desperate people can't win legally, they resort to unethical methods such as restrictions on mail voting.
To protect democracy, house of representatives have passed ethics and voting rights bill to strike down hurtles to voting For examples, nonpartisan commission to restrict partisan gerrymandering of electoral districts. Automatic registration of voters and limit on states pursing of registered voters. Transparency in campaign finance. Allow 15 days for early voting. More locations for voting. These features are common in more democratic countries.
