Trump Lawyers argue rushed schedule proposed by Jack Smith .

In a rational world, this is a quick turnaround, either declining to take the matter up because there are no real issues here and relying on the reasoning of Judge Chutkan’s ruling, or denying Trump’s motions outright. Both options can be done fast. But this nothing more than another slow walk to justice ! Let’s face it if they weren't prepared they shouldn't have appealed. 2) if they had no grounds to appeal they should not have appealed.
With great clarity it appears Trump and his lawyers don’t feel confident that his appointees to the Supreme Court will do his bidding as he expected when he appointed them. But never underestimate what next comes of Trumps rabbit hole!

A federal judge has put a pause on this ridiculous case against the legitimate POTUS! MAGA!

True!  Every non-MAGA understands that.

Meanwhile,  the attempts by Inmate No. P01135809 to delay even further by appeal after appeal after appeal is going to blow up in his face very soon - as Jack Smith has petitioned the Supreme Court to rule on his alleged "immunity" from any and all criminal wrong doing and SCOTUS is expected to rule within 10 days - so the trial judge has placed a temporary pause on the case awaiting that ruling.

 I believe that is the norm or 101 with an appeal! He’s done and they and the Supreme Court may delay some but will rule against him!

Wanted to let you that this year, our group down here contributed $500 in Walmart Gift Cards to 4 different veteran homes in Florida, Michigan, Ohio & NY.

They no longer wanted the type of gifts you & I provided 2 years ago. It was easier for them to monitor the use of gift cards so that each veteran got to purchase what was important to them & what they needed. 

Sorry, I didn't involve you & others in here. The decision was a quick one by the veteran homes because I think someone may have bitched that didn't need warm socks or DVD's etc.

Reason for pause appears to be to await supreme court ruling on presidential immunity.  Several judges in different states have reached the same conclusion that Trump's claim is invalid.  Inciting attack on capitol and trying to overturn fair elections aren't legal duties of presidents.  Special counsel Smith seeks ruling by supreme court because Trump is expected to use frivolous appeals to waste more time.
