SNL is going to have some fun with this one.
Somebody will please have to post a video link because I've cut the TV wire.
Trump wanted to trade Puerto Rico & Guam for Greenland.
He also wanted to return Alaska to Russia as a gift to his butt buddy Vladimir.
We have a real estate genius here don't we.

I'm not sure of that. Vlady has him bent over now for a number of years & Trump pops a rodney every time he gets a love letter form Rocket Man.

I thought this thread would die a long time ago, but since it survived let me throw in my 2 cents.
Are we not the nation of anti-colonialism?
For what possible reason can we condone the idea that Denmark "owns" Greenland?
Denmark (once upon a time) "claimed" Greenland, but that was only because Europe thought colonialism was a brilliant idea.
Perhaps, just perhaps, Greenland does not want to be "owned" by any foreign land. Perhaps that is why they have have so much home rule that Denmark can't do a damned thing about. If they declare total independence Denmark won't do anything about it.
So what should they do? Declare independence and throw up a "For Sale" sign and see what Trumps offer is?
As usual, Donnie is just acting out of his own self interest and greed. Trillions of dollars of natural resources are buried under Greenland's ice cap. That is what Donnie wants, especially with the ice cap melting and the natural resources becoming attainable.
Yet another good reason to ignore global warming. Try to buy it from the natives for a bucket load of beads, then pillage the natural resources. Maybe we can even name it "Manhattan II" or Trumpland.
