UPDATE June 30: Swing states

Here are the states which trump won in 2016 which are clearly 'swing states' now. Shows the mean average result of MULTIPLE-polling data, with electoral votes up for grabs in parentheses. 

Biden needs only to win any 3 of these 10 swing states, *OR* win just two if one of them is Florida, and the DEMS have the WH again!

Also, note that there are NO Democrat states in serious play, while the Republicans are defending 10 and must win almost all of them again!

PS.  All campaigns, including trump's, *RELY* on polling information all year round.  It helps any campaign identify key areas for improvement in their messaging, ads, and narratives as they move forward.  Much like football teams make adjustments at halftime based on what they learned in the first half. This is the important information polls can provide.  To help campaigns craft a better second half and hopefully effect positive change in their favor. trump's team is clearly down 17-0 at halftime but this game is far from over!

I hope you are right but I don't know about Joe winning Florida. I'm surrounded by deplorables in our voting district & they will show up to vote/vote by mail.

I'm not a big poll guy especially with 4 months left.

Biden win the presidency?   The way things going.. you can't assume he will even make it to the convention in the middle of August.. Besides an occasional foray into the light from his basement cave..he spends his whole day sitting on the T.V. watching the couch...

Trump is crumbling and that is unfortunate because Pelosi and company are chomping at the bit to find a puppet they can control for most of the decade. Biden will be their man. He has been groomed for the spot and rolled out the red carpet while Bernie was told to hush up and accept that the fix will always be against him. The Dems are well on their way to completing their mass manipulation. 

All of you guys that hate Trump so much will not dispute any of the above. 

It's such a sad state of affairs for this country. Without the tedious job of dreaming up additional investigations against our president, I wonder if they will finally end up doing something positive for this country aside from allowing cities to be run over by losers, defunding the police, and keeping the "gravy train everything is free mindset" going and going and going and going. 

Agree Florida may be iffy.  They flip around quite a bit there and that states is typically VERY CLOSE.  Mind you, they've added over 200,000 Peurto Ricans since 2016 and for some reason they don't seem to like trump very much. Not sure why.  Maybe it stems from watching their fellow American citizens being smaked on the head when trump hurled paper towels at them following his slow response to Maria.  In any case, demographics CHANGE over 4 years.  Arizona, Florida, and Texas, all have significantly increased minority populations (compared with whites) -  and minorities tend heavily to favor liberal philosophies, hence Democrats.  No guarantees of course.  But the numbers DO favor the Dems in flipping back a few states, particularly in the rust belt and likely Arizona too!

Polls at this point in time mean nothing ...About this time 32 years ago, Massachusetts Gov. Mike Dukakis had what appeared to be an insurmountable lead over then-Vice President George H. W. Bush  .He came out of his Democrat National Convention at the end of July with a 17 point lead..

Didn't Mr. Donald J Trump call these two media "fake news" in many occasions? How could Trump campaign buy ads in MSNBC and CNN? If they are "fake news" why bother buying ads on them?

Update July 02:  in the chart above, Biden's lead in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania has increased to +8, while trump has moved from a TIE in ruby red TEXAS to +1 

Texas is not normally conseidered a swing state, and it is generally conceeded Texas *WILL* vote red yet again....but what is an important sign of changing demographics is that Texas is even this close, and has been for months!
