I don't think most of them understand the ramifications of what they're rooting for. Maybe they have nothing to lose. Either way, there's little use in bantering with them. There's nothing I can say that will change anything. I've not been attentive to politics for most of my life, but seeing what has happened to the area I've lived in most of my life has woken me to the cost of apathy. The democrats have pretty much ruined the west coast, with most of the damage in the last 20 years. It's a shame. I guess I should be happy I got to enjoy it when it was great.

Although Abrams has not yet conceded, citing uncounted ballots, it looks as though the other side has won, and the narrative is the same as ever. Abrams didn’t have to fight just an electoral campaign; she had to fight a civil-rights campaign against the forces of voter suppression.
