  Yes, banning the word itself. Claims it has long been racist. I don't partake much anymore but I've been around weed for 45+ years...........I've never thought about, nor have I ever heard anyone, linking marijuana to any particular group of people.........stoners are stoners. Sure I remember the days of Colombian, Colombian Gold, Commercial (), Mexican, Hawaiin, Puna bud, Thai stick (loved real stick when you could get it).......but that was just a brand, like Budweiser, or Heineken.

 Just typical of Washington gov't..........looking for solutions to problems that don't exist.

 Some pampered arsed, never saw struggled, liberal arts degree holding crybaby will say something about "marijuana being associated with racial stereotypes of Mexican migrants and Jazz age African-Americans, etc". but as someone once involved in the cannabis industry, and still very much around it, I promise you nobody was thinking of this. This is the dumb shit that liberals think up. I'm gonna see if I can find a link to that story worded in a way that makes it sound like the are outlawing weed. I just helped him move up there. Researching the word "marijuana" and it's origin shows many researchers believe it came from Angola.

Is this really what our tax dollars are getting spent on? How much time and garbage was wasted on this? The tax payers should know how much of their tax money was spent on this. Probably a dime bag of marijuana to everyone in the state.
