The results are sorted exactly how one would expect. We are a 33%x3 nation now. I expect most Republicans to hate HRC. I expect many Dems (but not all) to hate Trump. The question falls on I's. I do believe more I's hate Trump than HRC.
I also don't think that BS generates the same type of hatred like the others.

Not really.

As a proud moderate Democrat, you might even say I am a crossover Democrat. I like most of what Donald Trump is saying.
But. I haven't totally decided yet.
I love his stance that all politicians ARE BOUGHT. it is so true.
However, I do not like his profanity. Many children are watching and just not a good example for our President, regardless of the language his hero George Patton used.
I do not like his stance on the minimum wage, the stagnation of wages is the main reason the middle class has fallen behind over the last 30 years..
On the other hand, Bernie has great points also. Especially the fact that most of the wealth has trickled up to the top 5% of Americans. That isn't right either and we cannot continue on that path.

I think I am scared of Sanders, HRC, Trump, Bush, Rubio, Cruz, (the GOP Field), and Gary Johnson in that order. I will be voting for Gary Johnson most likely. again.
Don Juan, Trump Likes guns, Stay over on your side.

DL36 - as a fellow non-partisan independent I agree with everything you have said. However, given the current available options (excluding any potential late entrants) I am least scared of Hilary.
That is not a ringing endorsement for Hilary. Rather it is a reflection on the sad state of the remaining options. Rubio, Cruz, Bush, Carson etc... No thanks.

You both continually use the term "non-partisan independent"
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but isn't that term redundant?
Regarding the original topic, IMO the scariest candidates are always the ones who are furthest from the middle. In this case that would be Sanders.
Although, this year, I might need to make an exception to my "furthest from the middle" notion, as Mr Trump is POTENTIALLY the scariest POTUS candidate of my recollection, and he is far right, and far left, which places him in the middle.
IMO, Sanders is a certainty to screwup what I believe to be a functional economic system.
Trump, on the other hand, POTENTIALLY can screwup every system this country has been building for the last 50 years, domestically and internationally. It is also possible, IMO, that Trump does more good than harm to what is the greatest country in the world.
Thus, my quick answer to the OP's questions is;
Sanders, and then Trump with an asterisk.
