I really don't give people much guff for their beliefs and opinions, it's more for how matter of fact they are. "Nope! Nope, it's definitely blah, blah, blah. You're all stupid. It's f*cking ridiculous. To your credit, Slim, you don't post that way. You give an opinion. You back it up with pertinent and credible facts to support thaf opinion. ...but I stand by my original statement. Scal comes into the Politics forum and drops a link, that while pertaining to politics, also pertains to....wait for it.. gambling! On a sports handicapping related website, no less. What a novel concept, right? Most people, if you are a member of the covers family, you would figure most people would have some interest in the contents of said article but I doubt many do. I doubt if many people in this forum come to this site for anything other than the political forum. And many of those don't add anything of value. Ridiculous @ss statements and name calling. And if you're a grown man that comes on a site like covers just to cackle around a cauldron like some kind of coven, yeah, i'm gonna call you a real housewife. I don't feel thaf way about all posters. Take brother sundance. I give him shit about Alex Jones but at the end of the day, it's all love. I realize it's his prerogative to support whom ever be wants. There's a lot of guys I respect and get along with in this forum that i'm not calling out. The guys i'm calling out know who they are.

Hey, if the shoe fits, ya know? The guys in here I respect know who they are. And in all seriousness, there are probably more that I do than that I don't but it doesn't change the fact that we can sound like a bunch of puffs sometimes. Another analogy i've used is it's like two gangs arguing except it's the Sharks and the Jets from WestSide Story. Everybody sticking their chest out and acting all bad when really they're just singing f*cking show tunes, snapping their fingers and doing pirouettes. So while the comment was in jest, I meant every word of it and stand by it.

Day after election. The shock of losing the house and narrowly having control of the senate republicans are stopped from passing laws.... the looming shut down in site and no one ready to even talk Christmas without the unnecessary part of the government..... trump expressed has completely derailed. As the White House begins to enact one executive action after the next... oh well Patriots are going to playoffs.
