The following question is for all of the liberals inside the politics forum of Covers. The world saw last week the POTUS is a very weak and fragile of mind, body and spirit! (1,000 trillionaires comes to mind) Who pray tell is governing the country? Important question at this point in time!
It’s the same administration that was there to get the country back on course after Trump cur-plunked it! And now it will be a tough road again now that the 6 conservative Supreme Court justices have handed the arsonist the matches. Its amazing to watch the MAGA supporters who believe in the myth of America, who make it part of their identity to gloriously fight for freedom or fantasize about fighting off the tyrannical government are on the side of tyranny this time. If a democrat did what the republicans are now doing, these people would indeed engage in violence against the state, but since their guy is doing it they’re cheering it on….its isn’t over yet the silent majority that put 7 million more votes on Bidens tally see and know what’s at stake!

Demagogues exploit a fundamental weakness in democracy: because ultimate power is held by the people, it is possible for the people to give that power to someone who appeals to the lowest common denominator of a large segment of the population.
On the supreme court ruling, it is easily read as 3-fold. So, this ruling for dummies...we don't all practice law and this is a gambling forum 
1. Say the president has off duty oral, and not CPR like in Bidens case but a Bj in Clintons case.... no immunity
2. When a V.P. is asked to authenticate the election results.... that's presumptive immunity, maybe prosecution
3. Pressure the DOJ to investigate about a Russia hoax.... immunity, no prosecution...duties of a sitting president
what is presumptive immunity?
Does it pose any dangers of intrusion on the authority and functions of the executive branch
What is amazing is this ruling hasn't quite sunken in yet on the progressive left, this applies to a wide group of powerful people past and present...and future

Musburger didn’t see a demonstration. He saw a target.
“One gets a little tired of having the United States run down by athletes who are enjoying themselves at the expense of their country,” he wrote. Musburger then infamously called Smith and Carlos “a pair of black-skinned stormtroopers.”
The above quote has been disseminated in books and articles for years but Musburger’s full column is a difficult find. With an assist from Professor Jules Boykoff and an old-school tool called microfilm, I found it, and if anything, it’s even uglier than the above quotes suggest. The headline is “Bizarre Protest By Smith, Carlos Tarnishes Medals.” Despite seeing what they did as “bizarre,” Musburger doesn’t once address why Smith and Carlos did what they did or quote them directly. He does however find time to mock them repeatedly. He describes Smith and Carlos as “juvenile”, “ignoble,” and—this actually is bizarre—“unimaginative.” Musburger calls Tommie Smith “the militant black.” In describing a scene of Carlos trying to defend their actions, Musburger writes, “Perhaps it’s time 20-year-old athletes quit passing themselves off as social philosophers.”
And then there are those words that still singe the eyes: “black-skinned stormtroopers.” You almost don’t believe it until you read it.
As for the actual stormtrooper-sympathizer, Musburger refers to Brundage as a kindly old grandfather and with great affection and addresses him as “Avery”. No mention of course that many of the athletes called him “Slavery Avery.”

What Democrats and “media elites” are currently doing, which is calling on Biden to step down, is committing an “insurrection,” Venture capitalist and co-host of the “All In” tech podcast, David Sacks, told Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk during a June appearance on Kirk’s podcast.
“What we’re seeing here is a full-scale insurrection by media elites and other powers that be in the Democratic Party to subvert the democratic process,” Sacks said. “After all, we had 50 state primary elections in which voters gave Joe Biden all the necessary votes, all the necessary delegates to be the Democratic nominee for President in 2024. You’re seeing now a major effort to prevent the certification of that result. It’s playing out in broad daylight in the press. So, I don’t know what you could call this except an insurrection.”
“What democracy really means to them is permanent rule by the Democratic Party, just like communism used to mean permanent rule by the Communist Party. They’re perfectly willing to disenfranchise their voters if it means staying in power.” Sacks added.
