betED Thanksgiving NFL Challenge

Pick Selection Guidelines:

-Leaderboard is based on total units.

-ATS and O/U selections based on availability.

-All NFL games with posted lines will be available for selection between:

Start Date: Thursday, November 25th, 2010

End Date: Tuesday, November 30th, 2010

Prizes:

Grand Prize

$3,500 betED Account Credit with 5x rollover.

Top 10 Finish Prizing ($1500 in Total Prizing) – 5x Rollover Applies

1 - $500 Free Play Betting Account

2 - $250 Free Play Betting Account

3 - $200 Free Play Betting Account

4 - $150 Free Play Betting Account

5 - $100 Free Play Betting Account

6 - $75 Free Play Betting Account

7 - $75 Free Play Betting Account

8 - $50 Free Play Betting Account

9 - $50 Free Play Betting Account

10 - $50 Free Play Betting Account

Prize Requirements & Eligibility:

• Contest is open to existing and new betED customers, but to be eligible for the Top 10 and Grand Prize, all accounts must have wagered a minimum of $10 or more prior to 8:30pm EST on November 29^th (Kick-off of MNF Game).
• Grand Prize is awarded through a Draw held on Dec. 1st, 2010.
• 5x  rollover required on all contest prizes.  For example if you win the 1st place $500 prize you will need to wager $500 x 5 for a total of $2500 in the sportsbook before you can request a withdrawal.
• Duplicate entries in the Office Pool or failure to meet the Prize and Eligibility requirements will result in a forfeit your prize.
• Prizes are awarded as cash credits to the user’s betED Account
• Contest is open to all valid betED users including Canadian players
• Prizes may take up to 3 business days to be awarded
   

Tie Breaker Rules:

For members who are tied with equal units:

(1)   Winning percentage
(2)   Total number of picks
(3)   Member who made the first pick within the contest (time stamp).

I have had problems in the past collecting with rules that seem a little unclear, or have the potential to be taken the wrong way.

Rules say, as long as we wager a minimum of $10 anytime before 8:30 pm on November 29th (kick-off of MNF).

Does this mean if we made at least a $10 wager at betED five months ago ( not during the NFL season) we are still eligible?

Bet Phoenix has the same kind of rules posted in the King of covers NFL contest... " ANYTIME" or "prior" to a certain date... but not stating it had to be made during the NFL season.

Just covering all bases, so I and or others don't have to fight to get our winnings like I have had to with BP. Rules are rules... just want to make sure I don't hear "Oh, it should have said during the NFL season, so we are not honoring the prize"

Just want to be on the same page.

I understand your 'worry' here, but I can't see this being an issue.  THe way I see it is this is the exact outline that betED requested for this contest so they should stand by it.
