Check your stats boy genius. Arrieta won three games in June, he didn't post a win in July. Attempting to be smart and being smart are two different things. I don't post much but idiots like you drive me nuts on this site. Here's a write-up that, right or wrong, gives an opinion and backs it up with reason that can be objected or discussed...take notes smart guy.
Oakland is a tough place to play day games, I'm not sure if visiting teams just don't see the ball well or what. But with that said the Cubbies play more day games than any other team in the majors. We're starting to see a lot of the better teams break out of thier post all-star break/trade deadline slumps and start playing winning baseball again. Sonny Gray hasn't been the pitcher this season that he has in years past (ERA of almost 6.0) and I think that's why Oakland wasn't able to move him at the deadline, lord knows they tried.
For the first time in a long time I feel comfortable laying the large juice with Arrieta taking the mound.
CUBS ML FOR THE WIN

that reminds of stories that way back Al Davis owner of the Oakland Raiders secretly had the opponents sides grass drenched with water before their home games
