The last 24 games I picked and posted here on Covers.com went 17 wins/7 lost for 70.8%. Yesterday, thanks to OT, I covered the 1st half over and a Big Play on the over as well as a beer play on Memphis (which is not counted in the 17-7).
The professional handicappers had a tough day yesterday. Many of the pros I checked on picked the wrong side/total. Michell Newman had "Western Conference LOCK/2nd Biggest NBA Release" on Golden State (lost). Jay McNeil had "Western Conference Over/Under LOCK" on UNDER Memphis/Golden State (lost). Eric Schroeder had the "Biggest Release of the Season - 100 Dimes" on Golden State (lost). On WagerTalk.TV, Skee Profit, Kevin Dolan, Steve Merril, and Bob Veno all predicted Golden State (lost). Kevin Dolan even had Best Bet on the Under 221.5 in the game (lost).
It is time consuming to research and study all the games. I'm sure they all have staff working around the clock to produce the information for their clients and make the pick. Bettors pay for their services because there is labor cost involved including marketing cost as well as cost of doing business. I listen to many of the professional handicappers providing information but I pick my own after collecting all the data. I'm usually on the opposite side. It is time consuming work but I release it free to all the people on this site. I'm not always correct but there is no fee with me. I don't tell you to bet on the teams I pick, I only tell you who I'm playing. You have to do your own research and make your own decision.
Currently, I am 17-7 (70.8%) all posted here on Covers.com. Anyone who can average over 60% is doing well. How are you doing with your picks?
I have a selection on the total for this Dallas/LAC game later. I am researching few more information I need before I post it.
